TuneWiki

TuneWiki is the first media player ever to combine music, videos, community and legal lyrics for free! This app is great! You can get "real-time" lyrics while listening to your favorite songs! There are a few down-sides tho: it takes a while to load TuneWiki and it takes even longer to scroll through all of your music. There is no search function or scroll alphabet like in the actual iPod. However, the ability to read the lyrics as the song plays is quite amazing! TuneWiki also helps you to find music videos on YouTube, get translations of your favorite songs, follow the top songs and artists of different regions, and experience music in a community of music-lovers.

Price: FREE--No need to pay for this service, it is free and useful at the same time!

My Suggestion: If you are into readying lyrics or fully understanding songs, then this is the app for you. It is not a necessity, however, for people who just enjoy listening to music. I think it is worth the download, but I also like to ready lyrics to songs. This app really comes down to the person using it... It can either be extremely helpful! Or somewhat annoying! I say give it a go, and if you are not pleased, you can easily delete it!

Pandora Radio

This app is one of the greatest radio apps out there! Pandora Radio teamed up with the Music Genome Project to deliver you only the music that you love! With Pandora you can explore the vast world of music to your heart's content.

You pick either a song or an artist that you like, and Pandora creates a customized radio station for you to listen to at your own desire. You will get access to thousands and thousands of songs, both new and old, popular and undiscovered, but all relating back to your original choice of music. You can create up to 100 unique stations, and you are even allowed to skip songs (up to 6 per hour).

Price: FREE--You can listen to all your favorite artists at no cost to you!

My Suggestion: DOWNLOAD IT! You can't go wrong with this app. If you own an iPhone or an iTouch, you are probably into music already, so this app will help you to enjoy your favorite types of music with many benefits.

Welcome to AppleApps! and Flood-It Review

Hi everybody! So this is the first post to my new blog AppleApps! I am very excited to get started with this blog.

As an avid Apple Supporter and a proud iPhone owner since day 1, I am proud to bring you reviews of apps from the Apple App Store that I hope you will find helpful! I will let you know which apps you should look into, and which ones to avoid at all costs.

I have been entertaining myself with Apps for almost 2 years, and now it is time for me to share my knowledge and opinions with you! If you own an iPhone or an iTouch, this blog should help you to find the best possible apps.

With this being my first post to my blog, I thought that I would get started with reviewing an app that I recently discovered:

Flood-It! by LabPixies

This app was just recently introduced to me, and after using it for a few days it is easy to see why there have been over 1.5 million downloads! This highly addicting game provides for hours of fun and entertainment and is easy to get the hang of!

The point of the game: Flood the whole board with one color within the allowed steps. There are three different board sizes for different difficulty levels.

Price: Flood-It! comes in two versions. The standard version, which is free, and the Pro version which costs $0.99. There is no major difference between the two versions. The features supported in Pro that are not supported in standard are: Play Against the Clock, Restart the Board, Undo Button, More Color Schemes and Global Top Scores for all boards.

My Suggestion: Go with the FREE version! The actual game play in both the standard and Pro versions are the same, so why not save the $0.99 and still enjoy a great game? There are still plenty of color schemes to select from in the Free version, the only real loss is that there is no "Play Against the Clock" function. Either way, the Standard and the Pro versions are GREAT and I HIGHLY recommend this app. It takes some good strategy and patience, but you will be glad that you downloaded it!
